Consideration Of Conejo Recreation and Park District Becoming A <br />Member Of The Ventura Operational Area For Purposes Of Coordinating <br />Public Agency Response To Emergencies And Disasters <br />Sorensen recommended that the issue be continued, pending receipt of <br />additional information from the Ventura County Sheriffs Department. <br />E. Acceptance Of Report On Financial Statements For Year Ending June <br />30, 2001 <br />Jorgensen said that a management letter detailing reportable conditions was <br />not submitted by the auditor, any reportable conditions found were minor and <br />the report indicates that the District's financial practices adhere to Generally <br />Accepted Accounting Principles. He highlighted the audit report, identified <br />salient points, and said the General Fund balance has increased, revenues <br />were greater than budgeted, expenditures less than appropriated, and next <br />year the Trust and Agency Funds will include the RSVP Trust Fund. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to accept <br />the report on financial statements for the year ending on June 30, 2001, <br />as prepared by the accounting firm of Moss, levy, and Hartzhelm. <br />Ward recognized staff for its efforts and noted that, as in years past, the audit <br />indicated that the District's financial practices met all the criteria established <br />by the auditors. <br />9.
