Ventura County Open Space District Program — No Comment <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Sorensen reported that at the December 6 Board meeting a Public Hearing <br />will be conducted relative to a donation of 58 acres to the District by Shea <br />Homes in exchange for state tax credits, and the Board agenda will be <br />published November 26 to satisfy certain state requirements. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Scott reported that over 500 high school students attended a concert at the <br />Teen Center on November 3, the Teen Center will host a dance for 7"' and e <br />graders on November 17, the annual Kid's Swap Meet is scheduled for <br />November 17 at Thousand Oaks Community Center, the Teen Center Middle <br />School Spirit Night is scheduled for November 20, the RSVP Volunteer <br />Luncheon has been rescheduled for December 5 at the Hyatt Westlake Inn, <br />and the 2001 Silver Starlight Ball presented by the Therapeutics Department <br />will be held on December 16 at the Palm Colony Clarion Hotel. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Managers Report <br />Ward noted that the Ventura County Board of Supervisors has tabled until <br />December further discussion on the Ventura County Open Space District <br />
