He referenced various handouts, and noted that the disposition <br />and sale of Park Place is underway, a similar process will shortly be initiated <br />for the industrial property on Rancho Conejo Road, and he highlighted <br />several reports, including that of the Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO), <br />detailing the State of Califomia's fiscal situation, and an update on <br />Proposition 13 litigation and its possible, negative impact on the District. <br />Concluding, he said he and Berger participated in Conejo Valley Unified <br />School District's recruiting process for a new superintendent. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange reported that the VCSDA (Ventura County Special Districts <br />Association) meetings are an excellent forum for information, both by <br />member districts and LAFCO (Local Agency Formation Commission), and <br />urged all to attend. Jacobsen concurred. <br />Gibson highlighted the recent Westlake Village 2e Anniversary Celebration, <br />and said that the District was well represented, and in honor of the event the <br />District and City of Thousand Oaks jointed presented two pieces of art work. <br />12.
