Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $351,786.24 <br />Payroll $521,000.00 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Buss, and carried 5-0 to approve the Consent <br />Calendar as presented. <br />•- 5 • <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Budget Adjustments for Fiscal Years (FY) 2022-2023 & 2023-2024 <br />Smith reported on the budget adjustments outlined in the staff memo. Her review <br />included the recognition of additional property tax revenues, increased <br />appropriations for certain budget items and the use of grant receivables and fund <br />balance carryovers for certain capital projects and districtwide. Smith noted two <br />additions/increases to the current year budget: an insurance increase of $82K due <br />to increased rates from CAPRI and a tennis court resurfacing increase of $20,000 <br />due to water damage. <br />It was moved by Nickles, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to: <br />1. Approve proposed FY 2022-23 Budget Adjustments. <br />2. Approve proposed FY 2023-24 Budget Adjustments. <br />B. Establishment of Ad Hoc Committee Regarding the Quimby Fee Program <br />and Park Impact Fees <br />Friedl reminded Board members that at the September 7th Board meeting, the <br />agenda item entitled "Proposed Updated Quimby Fee and New Park Impact Fee <br />Programs" was pulled from the agenda. This action will slow down the process <br />and will allow for, if approved by the Board this evening, the establishment of an <br />ad hoc committee that can take a deeper dive into the original recommendation <br />
