NEWITEMS <br />Facility Rental Fees and Deposits and Filming Fees - Adopt Resolutions 042023-A <br />and 042023-B <br />Callis referenced the staff report in the packet and provided a history of the structure of <br />CRPD's rental fees and deposits. She reminded the Board that an Ad Hoc Committee was <br />formed in June 2022 (Huffer and Nickles) to discuss fees and charges for facility rentals <br />and field use. This committee met with staff to share conversation and offer feedback. <br />Callis provided facts, figures and the rationale for the changes recommended in the Board <br />report. Twenty-four sports organizations were invited to attend the annual Sports Summit, <br />held this year on March 9th, where staff made a presentation regarding the proposed <br />changes affecting these groups, and sports organization's representatives were given an <br />opportunity to speak and ask questions; Callis noted that feedback was supportive. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Buss and carried 5-0 to: <br />Adopt Resolution 042023-A implementing a 5 -year plan to transition Rental User <br />Group Classes I and 11 from paying 25% and 50% of the Base Rate to 50% and 75% <br />of the Base Rate, respectively, that it be read in title only and all future readings be <br />waived. A five -point increase would be applied to each percentage value each year <br />beginning July 1, 2023. <br />�q SON <br />I ••'- L-� aim <br />Adopt Resolution 042023-B setting the Facility Rental Fees & Deposits and Filming <br />Fees for the Conejo Recreation and Park District effective July 1, 2023 through June <br />30 2024, that it be read in title only and all future readings be waived. <br />Contract for Custodial Services at Various Park Facilities in the amount of $315,77-f <br />Annually <br />Mooney reported the District contracts for custodial services at 12 park facilities <br />throughout the District. The current contract, with Executive Facilities Services (EFS), <br />expires on June 30, 2023. This Request for Proposal process started at the beginning of <br />this year, at which time staff comprehensively reviewed the current contract and refined <br />the scope of work. Three companies submitted proposals, and after a thorough review <br />
