Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported staff will be holding public outreach meetings on Wednesday, <br />November 30th and Saturday December 3rd, on site, for Rolling Oaks Neighborhood <br />Park; Board members are welcome to attend. A notice regarding the meeting will be <br />sent out to approximately 500 residents; noticing will also be shared with the Thousand <br />Oaks Surgical Hospital and Los Robles. The Teen and Goebel Centers renovation <br />ribbon cutting has been scheduled for January 21 st. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis listed the partner agencies who benefited from the recent CRPD Mini Grant <br />program, which totaled $18,000. The Recreation Division has a new Administrative <br />Assistant; her duties will include some work for the Administrative Services Division, <br />and they will be sifting at the front desk. Please say hello to Raquel Broeker next time <br />you stop in at Hillcrest Center. Callis reminded the Board about the Community's 60th <br />Birthday party tomorrow at 4:30pm at Conejo Creek South Park. There will be a middle <br />school dance at the newly renovated Teen Center on Saturday. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Smith reported the Class and Comp Request for Proposal responses are due next <br />week; she is hoping to come to the Board with a recommendation in the near future. <br />The District has partnered with Govinvest for required actuarial reports for the annual <br />audit. Additionally, they will be used to develop modeling tools for labor costs and <br />pension obligations projection. It's looking like the software will be available in the next <br />30 days. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl is excited about the 60th Birthday Party tomorrow afternoon at Conejo Creek <br />South Park. He introduced Mooney from the audience and congratulated him on being <br />promoted to Administrator, Parks and Planning Division with the retirement of Hare. <br />Friedl will be out of the office November 30th and December 1st at a California <br />Association of Park and Recreation Indemnity (CAPRI) Board meeting in Jurupa.
