November 17, 2022 <br />Page 7 <br />will return in time to attend Holt's party on December 1St at 5:OOpm, just ahead of that <br />evening's Board meeting. Friedl offered the Board members the option to postpone <br />the Executive Closed Session scheduled for this evening to the next Board meeting. <br />Board members concurred, so there will be no Executive Closed Session held this <br />evening. <br />E. Directors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange attended the Veteran's Day breakfast and the ceremony at Conejo Creek North <br />Park, as well as two Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) <br />meetings and a Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy (SMMC) meeting. Huffer and <br />Nickles attended a Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA) Board meeting <br />on November 9th, where a brief farewell ceremony was held for Bill -de La Pena. Huffer <br />thoroughly enjoyed attending "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" at Hillcrest Center. <br />On Tuesday, he had breakfast with the General Manager. Holt had lunch with the <br />General Manager. Nickles attended the Special Board Meeting on Thursday, November <br />10th and participated in the Veteran's Day event on November 11 th. He had a lunch <br />meeting with the General Manager and was in Sacramento yesterday for a California <br />Association of Recreation and Park Districts (CARPD) Board meeting, where the Board <br />voted to approve their new legislative lobbyist, Alyssa Silhi. He also enjoyed an <br />impromptu tour of the newly renovated Thousand Oaks Teen Center with Nalbandian. <br />12. REQUEST STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT AGENDAS <br />13.
