Additionally, given the lease agreements at <br />Fiore Playfield between the District and Caltrans, SoCal Edison and the City of <br />Thousand Oaks, it is necessary to renew the 50 -year Porter Lease (which is set <br />to expire in January 2025), <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to: <br />Defer authorizing General Manager to enter into a grant and loan <br />agreement with American Youth Soccer Organization Region 9 for a <br />public picnic shade structure improvements at Conejo <br />Creek South, pending revisions. <br />2. Authorize General Manager to enter into a grant agreement with <br />Conejo Valley Little League for a synthetic turf infield on field #2 at <br />Fiore Playfield. <br />3. Authorize General Manager to provide a letter of interest to State of <br />California Department of "Transportation (Caltrans) to re-establish <br />the Porter Bill Lease with Caltrans for the property southwest of 23 <br />FWY and Avenida de los Arbolles (Fiore Playfield). <br />F. Parks and Planning Division Personnel Actions <br />Hare reported on the the reasons for the recommendations, which occurred after <br />a review of the Facilities Maintenance Department's job titles, descriptions and <br />how those descriptions stack up to the actual work being done. The revisions <br />were made in conjunction with the affected employees and the Union; the <br />reclassifications were also made after a review of comparable jobs at similar <br />agencies. The job specification for the Supervising Park Ranger more accurately <br />describes the actual duties and responsibilities required of in-house staff to <br />perform the job. The plan is to hire a Supervising Park Ranger very soon. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to: <br />1. Approve revised job titles and specifications for Facilities <br />Maintenance Worker 11, Facilities Maintenance Crew Leader, and <br />Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. <br />2. Reclassify the Facilities Maintenance Worker 11 position from range <br />41 to range 43. <br />3. Approve revised job specification for Supervising Park Rangel <br />
