May 6, 2021 <br />Page 5 <br />Callis reported on the 40 -year collaboration between the Arts Council of the Conejo <br />Valley and the Conejo Recreation & Park District. Staff has met with representatives of <br />the Arts Council Board of Directors who have agreed to the memorandum of <br />understanding. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to Authorize the General <br />Manager to sign the two-year Memorandum of Understanding between the Arts <br />Council of the Conejo Valley and the Conejo Recreation & Park District, with the <br />option to extend contract for an additional two years if there are no material <br />changes. <br />D. Amendment #4 to Contract for Drought Response and Irrigation <br />Improvement Services at Various Park Facilities <br />Hare reported the five-year initial contract term with FS Contractors, Inc. is ending. It is <br />recommended an amendment to the contract be approved to extend the term through <br />June 30, 2022, and to increase the not -to -exceed amount for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 <br />from $200,000 to $350,000. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to Authorize General <br />Manager to enter into Amendment #4 to the Contract for Drought Response and <br />Irrigation Improvement Services with FS Contractors, Inc. <br />E. Approval to Renew Ongoing License Agreements with Southern California <br />Edison (SCE) <br />Hare provided context regarding the properties leased by the District which are owned <br />by Southern California Edison. These properties include Fiore Playfield and two parcels <br />of land with hiking trails. Fees were determined by a fair market study conducted by an <br />outside consultant approximately five years ago, with annual increases thereafter. It is <br />recommended the license agreements be renewed through June 30, 2026. <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Lange and carried 5-0 to Authorize the <br />General Manager to renew four license agreements with Southern California <br />Edison, from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026. <br />10.
