Corresponding Secretary <br />Fiorita stated that a get well card was sent to Sonenklar, and a birthday card <br />to Tamara Spatz. <br />She highlighted the Senior Festival, and thanked Graff for his successful <br />solicitation of coffee and tea for the anniversary party. Additionally, she <br />thanked her husband Tony Fiorita for his assistance at the recent Orientation <br />for Newcomers session. <br />E. Treasurer <br />Courant reported that the balance, as of April 30, was $26,906.97; and, to <br />date, May receipts are $19,616.10, May disbursements are $18,322.21, and <br />the balance is $24,278.15. <br />G. Thousand Oaks Correspondence Regarding Goebel <br />Senior Adult Center Expansion — Phase 1 Projects (Information <br />Item) <br />Schmck stated that the outside disabled access upgrades have been <br />completed, the inside disabled access upgrades will shortly be put to <br />bid, new landscaping is planned for the front of the building, leaking <br />windows have been caulked, and installation of new carpeting is <br />planned after the disabled access upgrades are completed. <br />In response to Courant's inquiry, Schrock said that the City is not in <br />favor of alternative floor covering, but staff will discuss the issue <br />further, relative to its use around the main lobby area. <br />H.
