January 18, 2401 <br />Page 2 <br />Recipients thanked the District for the awards and fellow employees and supervisors <br />for their support. Board members congratulated the recipients and commented on <br />the cooperation and interfacing that occurs when co-workers work together as a <br />team. <br />Gibson recessed the meeting at 7:50 p.m. and reconvened at 8:00 p.m. <br />4.. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />None <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jacobsen, and tamed 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of January 4, 2001 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A C, Total $597,565.80 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0, to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Readoption Of District's Investment Policy <br />Jorgensen stated that it is necessary for the Board to authorize the <br />redelegation of investment authority on an annual basis, the policy is the <br />same as approved last year, and it meets the needs of the District. He <br />recommended adoption. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to readopt <br />the District's Investment Policy. <br />
