Youth Outreach Summary Report Page 3 of 4 Revised 01.2021

Virtual Meet & Greet
November 2020
Sponsored by the Conejo Coalition for Youth & Families
The Youth Outreach team provided a virtual Meet & Greet as
COVID-19 has had an impact on many of our Conejo Valley
Unified School District students. Social service providers
updated their services and showcase d their organization to
school officials and others that work with youth so that they
may refer youth and their families to your agency. A Social
Service List was provided to all 75 participants.

Recreation Programs
Thousand Oaks Teen Center
Cycles for Success Program for CVUSD Students
Students from Thousand Oaks High School receiving bikes, locks, and helmets.

Outreach Worker Reflections
I spent time with the Ventura County Food Share program helping provide meals for needy families.
I went over my list of last year’s students to see if any of them needed continued support and
services from outreach. With the assistance of Sarah Daub, CRPD Teen Service Director, we
learned about our new guidelines and restrictions, and how that would affect our relationships with
teens. I also assisted with the coordination of the 2020 Virtual Meet & Greet event in November.
-- Dan Nalbandian, November 2020
