Create Ad Hoc Property Acquisition Committee <br />Friedl reminded the Board of recent closed session discussions regarding <br />possible interest in the former Hillcrest Christian School site; open session <br />discussions about the TO Boulevard Mixed Use Measure E and parks per <br />population, ratios and Quimby fee; and recent identification of an available <br />property on TO Boulevard. Staff believes it would be helpful to have an ad <br />hoc Property Acquisition Committee standing by in case property becomes <br />available of interest to the District. These Board members would meet with <br />staff after staff has done some detailed investigation into these properties. <br />Any final decisions with regard to possible purchases would be made with <br />the full Board. Holt and Nickles expressed an interest in serving on this <br />committee <br />It was moved by Huffer and seconded by Cusworth to nominate Holt and <br />Nickles to the Ad Hoc Property Acquisition Committee. <br />Discussion ensued wherein Lange also expressed an interest in serving on <br />the committee. Huffer withdrew his motion.
