He presented TOSS' <br />Annual report, starting with information and pictures from Opening Day at Sapwi Park <br />in 2017. He spoke about community interest and participation; their Society's goals <br />are fellowship, fun and flying. More and more people are slowly coming back since <br />the pandemic began and membership is gradually growing. There have been <br />improvements to the field including solar panels, an artificial grass landing area, and <br />a shed; it is the best equipped field in Southern California. One of the Society's goals <br />is to engage students via the STEM program to get young people involved. TOSS <br />members are grateful for CRPD's help in making this field a reality. Swain answered <br />Board Member's questions and was thanked for his presentation. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />0 pj�• <br />3 K 1 1 rere 0,111111! •• • <br />Friedl shared the "Ventura County Recovers" website; CRPD continues to reopen to <br />the public as quickly as health orders allow. He gave kudos to CRPD staff for keeping <br />up with this ever-changing situation. Since the last Board meeting, the definition of <br />"gatherings" has changed — now gatherings are allowed for up to three households. <br />With regard to the California color coding COVID tracking system, the county has <br />moved from purple to red. <br />
