May 21, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to approve the consent <br />calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />Public Hearing Preliminary Budget Fiscal Year 2020-21 <br />Lange opened the Public Hearing. There being no public comment, he continued the public hearing <br />to the next regular Board meeting on June 4th. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />CRPD Update regarding COVID-19 Local Emergency <br />Friedl presented an update which included CRPD's "What's open/What's closed," a document <br />currently available on CRPD'S website. Friedl also shared the State of California's Covid 19 website; <br />it contains details of the planned "staged openings"; Stage 2 officially began a few days ago. He <br />provided details from a staff training done at Hillcrest Center today which included worksite specific <br />plans required by the County for which CRPD self -certified yesterday. A similar plan is being created <br />for every CRPD Recreation Center and Amenity. Friedl mentioned that it is still uncertain whether <br />the 4t' of July fireworks will be going forward; he provided details of the current situation including <br />cost and cancel lation/suspension possibilities. Board members provided input. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 052120—A Approving <br />Engineer's Report, Confirming Diagram and Assessment, and Ordering Levy of <br />Assessment for Fiscal Year 2020-21 (Districtwide Assessment AD 62-1) <br />Chair Lange opened the public hearing; there being no public comment, Lange closed the <br />public hearing. <br />Hare stated that the Board passed a resolution approving the intent to levy on April 16th. <br />The resolution recommended for adoption this evening includes ordering the levy of <br />assessment. A Notice of Public Hearing was published in the "Thousand Oaks Acorn" on <br />April 30th and was also advertised in the CRPD Program Guide. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution <br />No. 052120-A approving the Engineer's Report, Confirming the Diagram and <br />Assessment and Ordering the Levy of Assessment for the Districtwide Park <br />Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (AD 62-1), that it be read in title only <br />and all future readings be waived. <br />B. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 052120-B Ordering the Levy <br />of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) <br />Chair Lange opened the public hearing; there being no public comment, Lange closed the <br />public hearing. <br />
