Trash Enclosure <br />Rancho Conejo Playfield <br />A new trash enclosure structure was built. The <br />structure includes materials to match existing <br />building/site materials with block walls, painted <br />wood trim, metal gates/screening for security, and <br />a tiled roof. The location of the trash enclosure will <br />help increase efficiencies of field staff trash <br />operations. Work was completed in April 2020. <br />410 Z�k* � I <br />Skate Park Renovation <br />Borchard Community Park <br />Multiple focus group meetings have been <br />held to kickstart the multi-year planning <br />and fundraising effort to renovate/expand <br />the skate park. The goal of the project is to <br />refine existing features that have been <br />successful for the community and expand <br />other areas for varying skating types, <br />levels, and inclusivity of all users. The <br />skate park will be in the same location but <br />is planned to nearly double in footprint. <br />Park Design <br />Conejo Creek Southwest Neighborhood Park <br />Park staff is in the final design efforts. The next <br />step is to secure funding and put out to bid for <br />construction. The 14.1 -acre park will feature a <br />Chumash-themed playground, parking lot, solar - <br />powered restroom, shaded picnic area, fitness <br />stations, limited natural turf, drought -tolerant <br />landscaping, water efficient irrigation systems, <br />and walking/equestrian paths. <br />
