Center Renovation <br />Old Meadows Center <br />Acoustic panels were installed at the center earlier <br />this year. The tiles are a sound attenuation <br />mechanism that will help reduce sound levels <br />during activities for the Therapeutic Recreation <br />Unit to better serve the program patrons. <br />Park Renovation <br />Sunset Hills Park <br />In 2015, the first phase of drought response work <br />began at the park site. In order to complete the turf <br />reduction areas, the site was selected as a <br />2019/20 Drought Response project. The work was <br />completed in February 2020 and includes a <br />permeable asphalt perimeter walking path, <br />boulder/cobbles drainage beds, water -efficient <br />irrigation equipment, drought -tolerant trees and <br />shrubs, and mulch groundcover. <br />Play Area Renovation <br />Rancho Conejo Playfield <br />Work was completed in February 2020. The <br />playground was renovated with ranch -themed <br />equipment including shade, corn/wheat/barrel <br />climbers, horse and rabbit spring riders, ranch <br />activity panels, and a variety of climbers and <br />swings. <br />
