DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare referenced the pictures he sent to Board members of the recently completed <br />Conejo Creek North Bike Path. All Board members are welcome to attend the next <br />two Conejo Community Park Public Outreach meetings -- Sunday, February 9th at <br />1:00 pm and next Thursday evening, February 13th at 6:30 pm. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis referenced Rec Highlights. She provided each Board member with a cell <br />phone "sleeping bag" to coordinate with the "unplugged" program; this program was <br />initiated by Pete Martinez. Tax preparation assistance at the Goebel Adult <br />Community Center has commenced. The Therapeutics Unit will have a Valentine's <br />dance on February 15th The Goebel Center will have a party on Valentine's Day. <br />This Saturday, there will be a "Valentine's Matinee" at the McCrea Ranch. Safe <br />Passage will be visiting Barnes and Noble on Valentine's Day — Board members are <br />welcome to attend. Callis noted this is the first year that children from the Conejo <br />Creek Condos will be participating. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported on Play Conejo's upcoming "Prom Again" and provided information <br />about the event and sponsorship opportunities; this year the monies raised will be <br />used for the Borchard Skate Park and Play Conejo. The Board retreat discussion <br />results were sent to the consultant for the revenue measure; they will consider them <br />while developing the survey. Board members will have the opportunity to see the <br />survey before it is distributed. Friedl and Melissa Smith are attending a class at <br />Pepperdine University this Friday through Saturday focusing on training for civic <br />engagement. There will be a COSCA Board meeting next Wednesday; for seven <br />years the City has been working on closing the Rasnow acquisition (open space); <br />the papers have been signed and that property is being transferred to COSCA. Hare <br />tabulated the Gratitude Circle voting sheets: the 2020 honorees are Karen Lindsey, <br />
