Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Nickles attended the Safe Passage event on January 20th at Reagan Library; he <br />also recently dropped in at the Teen Center and had the opportunity to witness some <br />center activities, as well as talk with Martinez and some parents. On January 29th he <br />attended the City's Community Forum. He attended the Ventura County Special <br />Districts' Association (VCSDA) banquet. Lange attended the Safe Passage event at <br />the Reagan Library and, along with Huffer, attended an Athlete Recognition <br />Committee Meeting. Lange was at the VCSDA Banquet and was proud to see Huffer <br />receive the "Director of the Year" award and particularly appreciated Huffer's <br />remarks. Huffer has begun preparing tax returns through the Goebel Center's <br />program. He thanked those responsible for his award at the recent VCSDA Banquet. <br />Cusworth attended the Safe Passage program and the VCSDA Banquet.
