DECEMBER 5, 2419 <br />AMENDMENT NUMBER THREE TO THE <br />EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />AND GENERAL MANAGER <br />Recitals: <br />1. On May 22, 2014, the Board of Directors approved an updated employment agreement with the <br />General Manager which sets for the annual salary and benefits for the general manager. <br />2. On February 4, 2016, the Board of Directors approved Amendment 1 to the benefits portion of the <br />agreement by adjusting the District's contribution to the General Manager's 457 deferred <br />compensation plan. <br />3. On January 4, 2018 the Board of Directors approved Amendment 2 adjusting the annual base salary <br />by 5%. <br />4. The 2014 General Manager employment agreement, along with the two amendments, as well as a <br />benefits summary table, were attached to the December 5th staff report and are maintained on the <br />District's website on the Human Resources page at: <br />http:11www.cr dd..org/about us/human resourcesldefault.asp. <br />5. The Board of Directors has reviewed the General Manager's performance and wishes to amend the <br />existing employment agreement by adjusting General Manager annual salary by 5% effective with the <br />pay period beginning December 21, 2019. <br />Agreement: <br />In consideration of the foregoing, the Board of Directors of the Conejo Recreation and Park District and <br />General Manager hereby agree to a 5% annual salary adjustment and amend the May 22, 2014 employment <br />agreement and subsequent amendments thereto, by amending the first sentence of the May 22, 2014 <br />employment agreement as follows: <br />Section 4: Salary; Annual Review <br />District shall pay General Manager for all of his services rendered pursuant hereto an annual salary <br />of $224,141 effective for pay period starting December 21, 2019 with such salary or benefit <br />adjustments hereafter as the Board in open session shall authorize. <br />All other terms and provisions of the May 22, 2014 employment agreement remain in effect. <br />This salary adjustment was approved by the Board of Directors on December 5, 2019. <br />Board Chair <br />Aline Reynders, Attest <br />Jim Friedl, General Manager <br />HILLCREST CENTER 403 WEST HILLCREST DRIVE, THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 E-MAIL:parks@crpd.org <br />
