April 4, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br />Board members thanked Winston for his informative presentation. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />S. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Nickles, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />S. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of March 21, 2019 Regular Meeting and March 25, 2019 Special <br />Meeting <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 (Nickles abstained) to <br />approve the Minutes of the March 21, 2019 Regular Meeting. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to approve the <br />Minutes of the March 25, 2019 Special Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $240,674.07 <br />Payroll $417,000.00 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried S-0 to approve the Warrants as <br />presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />Public Hearing Preliminary Budget Fiscal Year 2019-202012020-21 <br />Huffer opened the Public Hearing. There being no public comment, he continued the public <br />hearing to the next regular Board meeting on April 18th. <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Amendment #1 to Memorandum of Understanding with Las Flores Community <br />Garden (LFCG) <br />Hare reported on the successful relationship with LFCG and recommended entering into <br />Amendment #1 to the MOU, which will extend the Agreement an additional five years until <br />April 17, 2024. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to authorize General <br />Manager to enter into Amendment #1 to the Memorandum of Understanding with Las <br />Flores Community Garden. <br />
