Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported he will meet with residents and the HOA representative on Monday regarding <br />the rehabilitation plans at North Ranch Neighborhood Park; he will keep the Board informed. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis referenced Rec Highlights. Brenda Coleman plans to retire at the end of May after <br />36 years of service. The Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families Board will be hosting its <br />first Youth and Family Summit; over 50 non-profit and governmental agencies have been <br />invited to attend. The event will be held on February 27th at Hillcrest Center. There are a <br />myriad of Valentines Parties upcoming. Callis also noted upcoming Safe Passage events <br />to which Board members are invited. The Tax Prep program is in full swing. There will be <br />a McCrea Ranch event this Saturday. YAE's "Little Prince" has opened; there will be one <br />"Conejo Theater for Everyone" performance during the run. Inclusion Coordinator Devon <br />Herbert will be attending training in North Carolina. Community outreach will begin in <br />March in an effort to learn, among other things, how residents are receiving District <br />information, how they use our program guide, and how they would like to be informed in <br />the future. Recreation staff is working hard on their budgets. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda answered some questions for Nickles re: some warrant items. She reported her <br />staff has been very busy since the new year, which is traditional for January. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported on a conference call with a representative trom the Coachella Mountains <br />Conservancy and the General Manager of the Desert Recreation and Park District as they <br />evaluate the creation of a Joint Powers Agreement such as COSCA or MRCA. He and <br />Kouba met with representatives from the Santa Monica Mountains Fund regarding <br />anticoagulants, as they are looked to better understand how the District works to avoid using <br />them. Next week, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Fried! will be in Anaheim at a Public <br />
