Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange reported he attended a Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Meeting where he was <br />re-elected Vice Chair of the Santa Monica Mountains Advisory Committee. He attended the <br />Mountains Recreation Conservation Authority Board meeting yesterday where more property <br />was acquired. Lange, Nickles, Cusworth and Holt attended the Ventura County Special <br />Districts Association Annual Dinner Meeting last Tuesday evening held at the Channel <br />Islands Maritime Museum. Nickles took a walk around the Highgate development in the <br />Westlake area; he noted a portion of the parcel will be tied into COSCA. On January 2811, <br />he served as a judge for Lions Club Speech Contest for high school students. He, along with <br />Cusworth, spent some time with staff learning about the District's Dog Park and local Off <br />Leash Areas. Cusworth met with Kouba. and gained clarity on the signage used on local <br />trails. She attended a Board meeting at the Stagecoach Inn.
