Board Meeting Calendar <br />Friedl suggested moving the January Board meetings from the first and third Thursdays <br />(January 3"d and 17th) to the second and fourth Thursdays (January 10' and 241); this change <br />will assist staff with packet preparation. Board members agreed to this revised schedule. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Agreement between Conejo Recreation and Park District and Conejo Valley Unified <br />School District regarding Funding for the Youth Outreach Program <br />Callis highlighted the activities of the Youth Outreach staff and reported on the need to review <br />the current agreement between the District and the Conejo Valley Unified School District <br />(CVUSD). The agreement presented this evening was formulated after meetings with <br />CVUSD staff. The cost split will remain 50150 between the two Districts; there is a slight <br />funding increase. The CVUSD Board will consider this agreement at their Board meeting on <br />November 6th. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to approve the Agreement <br />between Conejo Recreation and Park District and Conejo Valley Unified School <br />District regarding funding for the Youth Outreach Program. <br />B. Adopt Resolution 110118-A Authorizing Participation in the PARS Post -Employment <br />Benefit Trust Program and the Agreement for Professional Services with PARS <br />Lewanda reported on this item and Resolution and then introduced Dennis Wu, Executive <br />Vice President of Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) who provided additional <br />information via a PowerPoint presentation including information on the PARS OPEB Trust <br />Program and the reasons for prefunding OPEB. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to: <br />Adopt Resolution Number 110118-A authorizing participation in the PARS Post - <br />Employment Benefit Trust Program to be administered by Public Agency Retirement <br />
