CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />November 1, 2018 <br />7:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Holt called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. and Callis led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Teen Youth Summit — Sarah Laufenberg <br />Laufenberg, Vice Chair of the City of Thousand Oaks Youth Commission, provided highlights of the <br />2018 Youth Leadership Summit and the results of the findings, with special emphasis on those that <br />relate to CRPD. The next summit is scheduled for February 2020. Summits are held in even - <br />numbered years and implementation of the resulting ideas are implemented in odd -numbered years. <br />Laufenberg thanked the CRPD staff and Board of Director members who participated in the Summit. <br />She was thanked for her informative presentation. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A.
