Land and Water Conservation Fund – Grant Application to Outdoor <br />Recreation Legacy Partnership Program – Adopt Resolution 062118-A <br />Hare reviewed staffs reasons for participating in the 2018 Outdoor Recreation <br />Legacy Partnership Program; a Board resolution is necessary for the grant <br />application. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to Adopt <br />Resolution No. 062118-A approving application for participating in the Land <br />and Water Conservation Fund—Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership <br />Program for the development of Conejo Creek Southwest Park, that it be read <br />in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />B. Professional Services Agreement (not to exceed $50,000) to Provide <br />Comprehensive and Specialized Services and Information to assist District <br />in complying with both Federal and State Disabled Accessibility <br />Requirements <br />Hare reported this Agreement was discussed during this year's budget process. <br />In October 2017, the Board authorized John McGovern to perform a Therapeutics <br />Evaluation report, which resulted in a number of staff recommendations. <br />Recommendation #3 was to conduct an ADA Audit Assessment throughout District <br />facility. Staff recommends entering into a Professional Services Agreement with <br />Gibbens Associates to provide this evaluation; funds will come from the FY 2018- <br />19 budget. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to authorize <br />General Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with <br />Gibbens and Associates (GIBBENS) in the amount not to exceed $60,000 to <br />provide comprehensive and specialized services and information to assist <br />District in complying with both federal and state disabled accessibility <br />requirements. <br />
