Staff has worked diligently reviewing the report. Callis thanked Coleman, Laufenberg and Herbert for their assistance and proceeded to highlight the recommendations/proposals presented in the staff report, which are intended to enhance and enrich Therapeutic Recreation programs, as well as include budget funds for inclusion. Callis and Laufenberg answered Board Members' questions. It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to: 1. Receive and file report on District response to the recommendations made from the Therapeutic Recreation Evaluation completed by the W- T Group, LLC (previously Recreation Accessibility Consultants, LLC); and 2. Approve revised Recreation Coordinator Job Description E. Resolution No. 051718-D Authorizing the Submittal of the Older Americans Act Grant Application to Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) for the Project Years July 1, 2018 — June 30, 2019 and July 1, 2019 — June 30, 2020 Callis reminded Board members that several years ago the District went from a grant - based to a vendor relationship with the VCAAA; a carryover of this relationship is an annual grant proposal request for Older American Act funds. The resolution included in the staff report is required for the referenced grant application. It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to Approve Resolution No. 051718-D authorizing submittal of the Older Americans Act Grant Application, that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. F. Amendment #1 to Public Pedestrian Trail Project and Use Agreement from St. Patrick's Day School to Old Meadows Park Hare reported this amendment will add an extension of five years to the existing agreement; the only modification is the replacement of Section 7 with a new section which better reflects the permitting process. It was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to Authorize General Manager to enter into Amendment #1 to agreement with St. Patrick's Day School to provide direct access from the Day School to Old Meadows Park. G. Actuarial Report for Amended and Restated Pension Plan and Other Post - Employment Benefits (OPEB) Plan Lewanda reported the District is required to update the pension plan to comply with recent IRS regulations.
