Year -in -Review Memo <br />December 7, 2017 <br />Page 3 <br />Awarded bid, began construction and now, nearing completion, of Dos Vientos <br />Community Center entryway, shade structure and storage building improvements (project <br />expected to be fully complete in early 2018). <br />Wound up relationship with outside chef and food vendor for the Senior Nutrition Program <br />and created a new job title and staff position to support the Cafe/Senior Nutrition Program <br />in the Goebel Adult Community Center. <br />* Approved 2 -year MOU with Employees. <br />* Adopted 2 -year (FY 17/18 —18/19) Operating and Capital Improvement Program Budget. <br />* Named Wildflower Playfields in honor of Frances and Harvey Prince and hosted <br />recognition event led by City of Thousand Oaks. <br />Modified Agreements with LA Galaxy of the Conejo Valley Soccer Club (aka: Conejo <br />Valley United Soccer Club) and the Conejo Valley Unified School District and CRPD; <br />awarded bid and managed construction of three lighted futsal/tennis courts at Los <br />Cerritos Middle School. <br />Approved MOU with Concerned Off -Road Bicycle Association (CORBA) for support and <br />involvement in design, development and use of pump track, flow park & skills area within <br />Sapwi Trails Community Park. <br />• Re-classified Park Planner to Senior Park Planner. <br />* Re-classified PT Administrative Clerk as FT position (Goebel Adult Community Center). <br />Completed construction of six lighted pickleball courts at Rancho Conejo Playfields. <br />* Awarded bid and started construction on Banyan Park (est. completion January 2018). <br />Awarded bid and started construction on Sapwi Trails Community Park (est. completion <br />early 2019). <br />Awarded capital improvement grants to a variety of local non-profit organizations for <br />improvements to park properties including: Las Flores Community Garden for wheelchair <br />accessible planter boxes, Conejo Valley Historical Society for LED lighting in Anderson <br />Hail, Amateur Baseball Development Group for facility repairs, Conejo Valley Botanic <br />Garden for fencing improvements, RideOn Therapeutic Horsemanship for Master Plan <br />
