Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported that neighborhood meetings have been scheduled for potential off - <br />leash areas at Conejo Community, Del Prado and North Ranch Parks. Hare also <br />reported that staff met with Conejo Valley Days representatives to go over final <br />details for the event. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis referenced Recreation Highlights. The summer Concerts in the Park series <br />begins with the Memorial Day Concert May 30. Young Artists Ensemble's <br />production Anne of Green Gables opens tomorrow. The Transportation Expo and <br />Senior of the Year events will take place at the Goebel Center. Callis extended a <br />Therapeutic Recreation "Kitchen Kapers" dinner invitation to the Board. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported he and Callis met with Larry Janss and the Executive Director of the <br />Levitt Pavilion non-profit group regarding brainstorming of locations in Thousand <br />Oaks for a potential band shell location where the Levitt Foundation would provide <br />a minimum of 50 free outdoor concerts for the public. He thanked the Board for <br />their support and for attending Prom ... Again. He noted the Gratitude Circle <br />recognition is this Monday, May 9th. <br />E. Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange referenced two Acorn Newspaper articles, one on Conejo Valley Days and <br />the other on the Conejo Valley Days Children's Parade.
