May 5, 2016 <br />Page 5 <br />Hare and Howell attended a Ventura County Sheriffs presentation on marijuana. <br />Additionally, he reported on the MRCA acquisition of 500 acres in the Santa Clarita <br />area. Holt reported that she, Callis and Francine Sprigel presented a City of <br />Thousand Oaks Community Events Endowment Fund grant check to the Under <br />One Roof Circles program and toured Lutheran Social Services. Jones reported he <br />attended the ribbon cutting event for the off -leash area at Walnut Grove. Gibson <br />reported he attended the Ventura County Annual Water Symposium along with <br />Director Lange. He also reported that he sat on a panel for Association of California <br />Water Agencies (ACWA) this morning in Monterey regarding AB 52 requirements. <br />He noted high registration and sponsorship numbers at the upcoming CARPD <br />conference. Huffer reported he enjoyed attending Prom... Again. <br />12.
