Director, Nan Young, provided additional information regarding the three-dimensional public art project. Lange spoke in favor of the project. Discussion ensued regarding the project with Johnson & Young responding to questions. It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to participate in Arts Council of Conejo Valley's Conejo Cottontails public art project by purchasing a Conejo Recreation & Park District rabbit ($5,000) and displaying it at locations throughout the District. D. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 050516-A Resolution Approving Engineer's Report, Confirming Diagram and Assessment and Ordering Levy of Assessment for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 (Districtwide Assessment AD 62-1) Hare reported that in response to the Board's April 21 direction, staff has prepared the annual Engineer's Report for the Districtwide Assessment (62-1) for Board consideration and approval. It was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting No) to adopt Resolution No. 050616-A approving the Engineer's Report, Confirming the Diagram and Assessment and Ordering the Levy of Assessment for the Districtwide Park Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (AD 62-1) that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. E. Continue Public Hearing to Consider the Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance Districts 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) and 94-1 (Dos Vientos) to June 2, 2016 Since the Notice of Public Hearing was not published in sufficient time for proper notification, Hare requested that the public hearing be continued to .lune 2, 2016, Chair Huffer Continued Public Hearing to Consider the Levy of assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) and LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos) to June 2, 2016. E. Establish Ad Hoc Committee to Review Ordinance Manual Friedl reported that several years ago, staff met with an ad hoc committee of the Board to review the District Ordinance Manual. He said staff feels that with the time elapsed there is good reason to review the Ordinance Manual for possible updates and revisions. He asked the Board to appoint an ad hoc committee for this purpose.
