Holt, Vice Chair <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />1K Oaks Music Festival at Conejo Creek <br />Consider proposal by Aditya Festival Productions to promote and produce the "1K Oaks Music <br />Festival" at Conejo Creek South Park on June 9 and 10, 2018. <br />OPTION #1 <br />Accept Aditya Festival Production's proposal and authorize General Manager to execute the 2018 <br />1 K Oaks Music Festival Agreement. <br />OPTION #2 <br />Reject Aditya Festival Production's proposal. <br />Histo <br />On September 14, 2016, Aditiya Festival Productions wrote a letter expressing interest in <br />producing a 2017 Summer Music Festival at Conejo Creek South. Staff responded via email that <br />based on the information available, staff could not recommend an additional large scale event to <br />the CRPD Board. (Exhibit 1). Events which would place a major impact on a park facility are <br />subject to Board approval and either staff or, the Board of Directors, may deny a permit application <br />for a variety of reasons, such as a calendaring conflict, or if the proposed use may damage, <br />destroy or detract from District property or cause harm, injury, discomfort or displeasure to other <br />persons in or near the park (CRPD Ord. section 104). <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive .
