CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />May 4, 2000 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />In Chair Berger's absence, Vice Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:32 <br />p.m., and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Berger arrived at 7:36 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Benton, Jorgensen, and <br />Sorensen, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Nick Quidwai, Newbury Park, approved of the Board meeting format. He opined <br />that the City Council motion to dismantle the Hill Canyon Regional Recreational <br />Authority was a violation of the Brown Act, and he expressed disappointment that <br />District funds were expended on the Hili Canyon project. <br />Chair Berger arrived and assumed the chair. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />
