CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 21, 2002 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />In the absence of Chair Jacobsen, Vice Chair Lange called the meeting to order at <br />7:33 p.m., and Jorgensen led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Jacobsen <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Scott, and <br />Sorensen, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Judy Hare, Thousand Oaks, expressed safety concerns regarding the Thousand <br />Oaks High School Cross Country Team running across the vehicle entrance of the <br />dog park. <br />Gibson recommended that Thousand Oaks High School officials also be informed. <br />Barbara Kloster, Thousand Oaks, suggested that Thrill Thursdays, a fund raiser, <br />be scheduled at various sites throughout the community, and requested that, at <br />Waverly Park, the Cross Country Team remove directional chalk when an event is <br />completed. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Hoit, and carried 4-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A.
