CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />February 5, 2015 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Huffer called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Gibson led the flag salute. <br />Imo:%1 q>te]_l, 14 <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Jones <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda, Lindsey and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency <br />Matt Kouba, CRPD Park Superintendent, reviewed highlights of COSCA's accomplishments <br />over the last few years, including land acquisition, ranger activities (Arbor Earth Day, Trail <br />Work Days, Trail Education Days), and special projects. COSCA also assists other agencies, <br />which recently included helping during the Springs Fire and during the Calleguas water -line <br />break in Wildwood Neighborhood Park. Although they have not been at full -staff for some time <br />now, COSCA has managed to continue to provide excellent service to the community and to <br />keep up with their varied tasks throughout the District. <br />4.
