Lange, Vice Chair <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />Marissa Buss, Director <br />DATE: <br />December 7, 2023 <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />TO: <br />Board of Directors <br />Tex Ward <br />FROM: <br />Jim Friedl, General Manager �e <br />SUBJECT: <br />Amendment #1 to Manageme <br />greement with Conejo Valley Historical Society at <br />Stagecoach Inn Museum <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize General Manager to enter into Amendment #1 to the Management Agreement with Conejo Valley <br />Historical Society (CVHS). <br />DISCUSSION <br />The District and CVHS have worked cooperatively to enhance the Stagecoach Inn Museum since 1973. <br />Since that time, CVHS has assisted with the management and operation of the Museum Facilities. <br />On January 1, 2016, the District entered into a Management Agreement with CVHS at Stagecoach Inn <br />Museum. <br />CVHS desires to continue to work with the District to provide programs of historical, educational, and <br />cultural significance. Additionally, CVHS desires to continue to assist the District in the management and <br />operation of the Stagecoach Inn Museum. Therefore, it is recommended the Agreement be extended for <br />an additional five years with a five-year option. <br />Amendment #1 is attached. The current Agreement can be found at www.crpd.org/CVHS. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2023 Strategic Plan Goal 3.2.5: Maintain a capital improvement fund. Incentivize groups to improve <br />District facilities through a grant funding application program for District -approved projects. <br />Meets 2023 Strategic Plan Goal 4.6: Partnerships. Build, maintain, and support local organizations <br />engaged in activities consistent with the District's mission.
