CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />July 15, 2021 <br />6:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />M I N U T E S <br />Nickles called the meeting to order at 6:01 pm and Miller led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />6_11IIIIIIIIIIIIII <br />Directors Present: Cusworth, Holt, Huffer, Lange, Nickles <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Smith, <br />Executive Assistant Reynders, and IT Assistant Bermudez <br />Sports Department Update — Dana Miller & Paul McCarter <br />Miller, Sports Recreation Supervisor, made a presentation entitled "Navigating Through <br />the Pandemic." She introduced her staff and gave credit for their contributions during the <br />pandemic. A timeline she shared, starting on March 11, 2020, illustrated the ever - <br />changing rules and regulations required due to COVID-1 9 and how they affected all things <br />sports -related, including field permits, sports leagues, sports camps, inter -team <br />competitions, etc. Andy Morales, Reservations Coordinator, reported on how COVID-19 <br />affected rentals and gatherings. Paul McCarter, Recreation Coordinator, shared how the <br />pandemic affected sports leagues and teams. Miller answered Board member's questions <br />and was thanked for her informative presentation. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />A. Approval of Minutes of June 17, 2021 Regular Board Meeting. <br />B. Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $841,503.82 <br />Payroll $868,200.00 <br />
