CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br /> <br />Huffer called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Holt led the flag salute. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Directors Present: Cusworth, Holt, Huffer, Lange, Nickles <br /> <br />Directors Absent: <br /> <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br /> <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br /> Teen Center – Rick Tanaka, Teen Services Director <br /> <br />Tanaka presented a PowerPoint with information on the Teen Center which highlighted <br />recent activities and programs, including details on various classes, special events, <br />opportunities for teen engagement and drop-in recreation. He stressed the importance <br />of community collaborations and partnerships. Tanaka answered Board member’s <br />questions and was thanked for his informative presentation. <br /> <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Chair Huffer suggested moving “Items from the Public” to coincide with Item 9A, as all the <br /> speaker cards submitted reference that item; approval from Board members was <br /> unanimous. <br /> <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br /> It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. Approval of Minutes of December 6, 2018 Regular Meeting <br /> <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to approve the minutes <br />as presented.
