CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Holt called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm and Callis led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Huffer <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />(Huffer arrived 7:04 pm) <br />Part -Time Service Awards <br />Emily Acosta — Conejo Community Center <br />Donovan Fidel — Aquatics <br />Sherry Lippel — Conejo Senior Volunteer Program <br />Megan O'Leary — Thousand Oaks Community Center <br />Bryce Phillips — Conejo Community Center <br />Zach Sonnenberg — Hillcrest Center for the Arts <br />Callis introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their professional and academic <br />accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, and families for their support, and expressed <br />appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Gina Smurthwaite, Thousand Oaks, expressed concern over the development of Conejo <br />
