At Holt's suggestion, Lindsey will research transferring the <br />501(c)(3) status from the Oakleaf Music Festival to the newly -formed <br />Foundation. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0, to establish <br />a Conejo Recreation & Park District non-profit foundation and <br />authorize staff to conduct a fundraising campaign as a part of CRPD's <br />50th Anniversary Celebration. <br />10. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare thanked the Board of Directors for their attendance at the Dos Vientos <br />Playfield groundbreaking. Hare continues to work with the bonding <br />company, SureTec, on Oakbrook Neighborhood Park and Rancho Conejo <br />Playfield. Hare will come back to the Board in mid-December or early <br />January for consideration of the agreement proposed between CRPD and <br />the SureTec. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey reported the "Reign of Terror' haunted house generated $15,000, <br />which will be donated to the District at a ceremony tomorrow afternoon_ <br />$7,500 will go to the Teen Center and $7,500 will go to the Young Artist's <br />Ensemble Theater for Everyone. Information on the Logo Contest for <br />CRPD's 5& Anniversary was recently disseminated. A reception to thank <br />the Alliance for the Arts' loan of a Steinway Grand Piano to the District will <br />
