September 15, 2011 <br />Page 4 <br />Friedl reported that the legislative session had ended and many bills were <br />awaiting action by the Governor. <br />Due to their attendance at NRPA, there will be two Board members absent <br />from the November 3'd Board meeting. As the time draws near, a decision <br />will be made whether to push scheduled agenda items to other meeting <br />dates, or alternatively, to hold the meeting with three Board members in <br />attendance. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Gibson reported that soccer parking at Pepper Tree Park has migrated to a <br />new area of the community. Hare will continue to work with groups to <br />address the situation. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange reported on Day of the Horse. Attendance was good; he thanked <br />Barbra Kloster for all her efforts over the years toward making this event a <br />success. One of MRCA's Fire Division Managers is Acting Division <br />Manager for the fire in Antelope Valley. The groundbreaking for Many <br />Mansions Hillcrest Apartments was held yesterday. Lange noted that the <br />plans are for 60 units on a 3 -acre site which will include a community <br />center, underground parking and a grassy park area on the parking roof. <br />The apartments are scheduled for completion next year. <br />12.
