ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />None. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Conceptual Borchard Skatepark Expansion and Renovation <br />Hare introduced Aaron Council, Borchard Skatepark Specialist. Council's <br />PowerPoint presentation included a brief history of the 9 %r -year old <br />skatepark and an overview of current programming offered. Council <br />introduced Jarret Coolige, a youth volunteer at the park. He and his mother, <br />Diane, spoke in support of expanding the park. Two brain -storming <br />sessions were held with local users and a proposed design was devised with <br />the assistance of Mike McIntyre of Action Sports Development (ASD.) <br />Council explained the design would meet the needs of all types of <br />'Wheelers" and would also promote a family -friendly atmosphere. Questions <br />by board members were answered by Council and further pleas were made <br />by local skatepark users Sean Foy and Eddie Wastell. <br />It was moved by Jones., seconded by Lange, and carried 3-0, to <br />approve the Conceptual Borchard Skatepark Expansion and <br />Renovation. <br />B.
