RECEIVED 09/09/2010 09:00
AUG -23-2005 O2:43R FROM: TO:4973195 P.2
For the sake of public bidding laws and subcontracting laws, I hope that
upon review of these issues, you can conclude that this protest is
warranted.
I hope that the review is complete and just not a generic confirmation
or question to Tek -up , " If they plan on using your own work men,
which will appear on your payroll to complete these portions of work"?
Normally, there confirmation of using there own men would suffice,
however, in the case of my two objections, they cannot qualify as
the low bidder even if they used 'there own workforce. Because these
specific specialty licenses are required by way of local permit issuances.
and contractors License Law.
Further investigation of Tek -up has also confirmed our opinion, that they
do not do these trades with there own forces.
Please be fair In your assessment and decision for the best interest
of the taxpayer.
I will have a full-time staff member monitoring the daily job site by counting
individuals on-site and requesting weekly payroll reports because I suspect
other trades will be completed by un -listed contractors and not employees
of Tek -up.
Respectfully submitted,
/James T.
