Appropriate $115,000 accumulated interest earning in CIP fund to CIP account 62- <br />802-811-80601-003. <br />2. Award bid to Tek -up Construction, Inc., in the amount of $839,252 plus project <br />contingency and additional expenses in the amount of $125,000, totaling $964,252, <br />for construction of Oakbrook Neighborhood Park Phase 1 Waterwise Park <br />Improvements. Waive irregularities in Tek -up Construction, Inc. bid submittal. <br />DISCUSSION <br />A notice to bidders was advertised in the "Ventura County Star" and in both the local <br />(Oxnard & Santa Barbara) listing services, as well as other listing services in Southern <br />California. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held at the site on Wednesday, August <br />18, 2010.
