LANG RANCH COMMUNITY PARK <br />�ESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />of S. <br />We anticipate approximately two weeks for laboratory testing and •an' <br />additional four to six weeks for analysis and report production. Thus, the' <br />final report will be pre—sented approximately ten to eleven weeks after <br />(continued) commencement of field exploration, laboratory test results permitting. <br />Preliminary data and recommendations can be provided to you verbally <br />during the course of our investigation as they become known to us. Please <br />keep in mind that some of the above fieldwork (inclinometers and 200 - <br />foot standpipe piezometer) is currently planned after the production of the <br />geotechnical report. However, this schedule can be modified as desired to <br />have various tasks produced prior to others; this should then, be based on <br />discussions with you. <br />Task -l: 1.5 Weeks <br />Task -2: 5.5 Weeks <br />Task -3: 3 Weeks <br />Task -4: 4-6 Weeks <br />Task -5: NIA <br />Task -6: NIA <br />Task -7: 11 days + 12 months of readings thereafter. <br />Task -8: 5 days + 12 months of readings thereafter. <br />Task -9: Added within Tasks 1-4. <br />Task -10: Added within Tasks 1-3; 2 Weeks for the report. <br />Please note that many conditions encountered in the fi eld may result in <br />supplemental costs not covered herein. This proposal. is based on our best <br />estimate of the anticipated conditions at<tbis time, and our cost estimates <br />are considered reasonable and likely based on these assumptions. However <br />excessive soil or rock cracking, collapse or caving of borings/ excavations, <br />excessive -water, extremely hard rock and other potential conditions may <br />occur during our work that result in limited data, loss of bore holes and/ <br />or extended time; such risks are inherent in the work. LGC has planned <br />for a "reasonable" amount of delays that may occur by these types of fi eld <br />conditions, and we will work with the drillers to solve fi eldrelated issues <br />as they occur.
