DEVELOPJ` SST AND <br />iCbm-TRUaIO�-DOCUMENTTS :. <br />Miscellaneous Services (Meetings and Support � fondns n <br />Documents) <br />(continued) Miscellaneous services will cover team meetings, review of plans <br />{grading and foundation plans},providing input into development of the <br />construction documents, and provide geotechnical consultation to answer <br />questions and provide clarification during design and the construction <br />bidding process. <br />SuPPlemental Meetings <br />Based on recent discussions With the District, LGC will plan for three <br />additional meetings to those indicated in Task -5. These meetings will <br />occur through the Design Development process. The planned meetings <br />likely to include geotechnical input include: <br />A District (Board) End of DD Meeting <br />► A Planning Commission End of DD Hearing <br />J► A City Council End' of DD Hearing, and <br />A Citizens Geological Awareness Meeting <br />It is anticipated that the above meetings will require the presence of the <br />project Principal Geologist and Principal Engineer; the Project Geologist <br />will also attend the Citizens Geological Awareness Meeting. <br />We will plan on having relevant figures and board -type displays to convey <br />the site geological and geotechnical conditions, as necessary. <br />Installation and Management of Inclinometers <br />At the District's request, we have studied the site information in our <br />possession to determine the locations and depths of slope inclinometers, <br />along the perimeter of the site. <br />Based on our preliminary assessment, we recommend seven slope <br />inclinometers be installed along the southern margin of the site, to -evaluate <br />potential site movement prior to and during construction. We have planned <br />for four inclinometers to be installed along Westlake Boulevard. with three <br />along the property line below existing residences on the southern margin <br />of the site. Five.inclinometers are planned for 200 feet in depth and two <br />are planned for 160 feet in depth. These depths are anticipated to extend to <br />approximately 20 feet below the interpreted deep basal rupture surface as <br />indicated in the EiR. <br />Inclinometer borings will be drilled with a mud rotary drill rig or <br />equivalent. Grooved pipe will be installed and the annular spade around <br />the pipe will be slurry filled.
