Each
Senior Project Manager
member of our team has been selected based on that firm's specific strength
28480 Avenue Stanford
and because that strength matches specific requirements that are needed
Suite 200
for the design of this project. The work breakdown structure of this schedule will provide
each subconsultant a blueprint for each specific task to be performed and
wvvw psomas,com
the timing required to ensure a seamless and cohesive design process.
The first task to be performed in providing the District a conceptual
design will be to address the environmental impacts to the site. Our staff
ecologists will prepare restoration/enhancement plans for the Braunton's
Milk -Vetch and the Coastal Sage Scrub. If it is found that inadequate area
exists on-site for the restoration plan, Psomas will assist the District in
verifying if alternative sites are capable of providing sufficient restoration
area. An oak tree report will be prepared to address potential impacts to
oak trees and provide mitigation recommendations. Concurrently, Psomas
will have a new 40 -scale aerial topography reap prepared with one -foot
contours to be used as.the basis for all project investigation and design.
Once it has been determined that proposed arenas of disturbance for the
geotechnical investigation are free of sensitive plant or animal species,
LGC Geotechnical will conduct their on-site investigation to provide
site grading recommendations. Based on the results of their field and
lab investigations, LGC will provide their interpretation and conclusions
concerning site conditions and the proposed design. Working with
the District, the Project Team will assess possible design options and
determine which options are most feasible for the Project design. Psomas
will then provide a preliminary project grading design based on LGC's
recommendations that will then serve as the design base for L. Newman
Design Group (fMG), as the landscape architect, and CMX, as the sports
field/court consultant.
As the original Lang Ranch Master Landscape Architect, L.
