Budget Performance Report — May 2009 - No Comment <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare stated that the Lang Ranch Community Park geotechnical study is <br />progressing nicely. Concluding, Hare said that Northwood Park site will soon be <br />seeded. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton referenced documentation and highlighted recreation events and <br />activities. Several summer camps begin June 15 including two basketball camps, <br />two music camps, and several outdoor camps including Little Folks, Wildwood, <br />Chumash, Discovery and Adventure Day Camp. "Artmada," a new special event <br />created by staff with teen input, will be presented on June 20, and will feature live <br />music and an art show. Goebel Senior Adult Center will host a Nine -Ball Billiards <br />Tournament on June 17. Summer Academy classes, including "School of <br />Fashion Sewing" and "Pre -Engineering with Legos" will be facilitated by <br />Thousand Oaks Center staff and held at Hillcrest Center. The annual Touch -A - <br />Truck event will be held on June 20. <br />
