August 4, 2005 <br />Page 5 <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that discussions are underway with Dos Vientos YMCA to <br />advanced funds to enclose its pool in exchange for pool access; this would be <br />similar to the agreement in 1992 between the District and Southeast Ventura <br />County YMCA. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange reported that SMMC and MRCA are working with the United States <br />Department of Transportation and Cal Trans to plan and implement <br />recommendations for Arroyo Seco Parkway National Scenic Byway Corridor. <br />Holt requested that staff determine if California Park and Recreation Society <br />(CPRS) conference registration is transferable. <br />Gibson said he enjoyed the recent Ventura County Special Districts <br />Association (VCSDA) sponsored tour of Calieguas Municipal Water District. <br />He thanked Lange for his involvement in the organization. Jacobsen stated <br />that there are plans for an Oxnard Harbor Tour, which should prove to be very <br />interesting. <br />12. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT AGENDAS <br />13.
