Victoria Avenue <br />Ventura, CA 93009-1850 <br />Dear Everett: <br />VCSDA <br />On June 2, 2004 the Independent Special Districts were sent a certified letter requesting that they pass a <br />resolution to provide the LAFCO Executive Officer with the authority to proceed with a mailed ballot <br />election whenever a vacancy on the LAFCO Commission occurs, and that a change to the Independent <br />Special District Selection Committee Rules and Regulations was required. <br />As of Monday, August 2, 2004 we have received a quorum of 15 -signed resolutions by a majority of the <br />independent Special Districts approving the requested changes.
